Michael E. Troisi

Michael Troisi is a partner of the firm. He specializes in transactional real estate matters and also devotes a substantial amount of his practice to the field of wills and estate administration. He represents investors, developers and individuals in purchases, sales and financing transactions. He has decades of experience representing sponsors in the preparation of offering plans for the conversion of buildings to condominiums and cooperatives.

He specializes in the purchase, sale and financing of apartment buildings in New York City and is well versed in the landlord and tenant laws that govern those buildings. He also represents individuals in the purchase and sale of houses, cooperative apartments and condominium units. With his many years of experience he combines his knowledge of the technical details of real estate law with his negotiating skills and his understanding of the business aspects of a transaction. He is entrepreneurial and practical and understands what the client is trying to achieve and what is important to his client.

Mike has many years experience in owning and operating rental real estate and he is the operating member of a private real estate company which owns multi-family housing and unsold cooperative and condominium apartments. He serves as the treasurer of two cooperative corporations.

He also has considerable experience in the administration of decedent’s estates and is especially suited to represent estates with real estate holdings.

Mike first became associated with our predecessor firm in 1977. He graduated from St. Johns University School of Law in 1972 and is also a graduate of the Fordham University School of Business Administration where he majored in Finance. He was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1973.
